Manuela, an extremely human human, runs a renovation company. When some very pretentious siblings ask her to renovate their famous candy house, she accepts, along with her partner Rulf, a gnome with an enormous hammer. But the job gets complicated: sugar monsters are lurking, and materials are mysteriously disappearing, courtesy of Gerb, a rather untrustworthy goblin. To break a spell, they turn to Fábula, a cantankerous witch trying to leave her dark lineage behind. Will they be able to renovate the house in time?
