Enrique Carlos Martín has been drawing since he was able to hold a pencil without poking himself in the eye. He published his first picture book in 1992 and in 1994 he was finalist for the Premio Iberoamericano de Ilustración. His drawings have appeared in several books published by houses such as Anaya, Santillana, Edebé, Grijalbo or Vicens Vives, and his comics have been published by Dupuis or Norma. Later on, he started to write.
