J. Santoro Gallego was born in Santiago de Compostela. He has been a primary school teacher for nearly two decades, living daily alongside the imagination, fantasy, and curiosity of his students. He inherited his love for children and literature from his mother and grandmothers (C. Santoro and M. Gallego).
