Joseángel Murcia is a mathematician from Murcia, though he lives in Madrid, where he trains teachers both at the Complutense University of Madrid and through training courses that have taken him to every province in Spain. He collaborates with textbook publishers, educational institutions, and teacher centers. He wrote Y me llevo una (And Carry One), a reckoning with school mathematics (Nórdica and Capitán Swing, 2019), to help us make peace with math, and he hasn't been able to stop since.
